Summary:
10 long years lasted the Trojan War. And when he finished, they all returned home except for some of them, like Ulysses and his crew, who managed to return and returned later.
They faced many dangers to return home: Cyclops, sirens, cursed fruits ...
In the end only managed to return Ulysses because his crew could not follow. They were falling one by one on each adventure.

On their way back to an island they were attracted by the wind, there were fruits that some of Ulysses' companions ate, and those fruits made you lose your memory. After a few days, they reached another island, Ulysses, and some of his men entered. On this island lived a cyclops, this group met Polyphemus a Cyclops son of Poseidon. Polyphemus ate some of his men. Ulysses developed a plan to flee that consisted of killing the Cyclops. They reached Ea, another island where a sorceress turned part of the crew into animals. The woman asked Ulysses to love her, it took them a year to leave. In the course of the journey Ulysses asked to be tied to the staff and the crew to cover their ears with wax, which he wanted to hear sirens. Poseidon punished Ulysses by forming a giant wave that destroyed the ship. Leaving the waves he reached Ogigia, an island where a nymph lived, Calypso had him there for seven years until a messenger of the gods told the nymph to let him go. At last the man managed to get to Ithaca, disguised as a grandfather to prove who was faithful and who was unfaithful. There were people who wanted to marry Penelope and some of their soldiers planned to kill Telemachus, Ulysses took off his disguise and Calypso had him there seven years until a messenger of the gods told the nymph to let him go.
